Learning Trajectories for Historical Thinking
This site is dedicated to the dissemination of research and resources related to our project, ""Unlocking Historical Thinking: Leveraging Library of Congress Digital Archives to Develop Learning Trajectories" (funded by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Consortium Grant)
The goals of this project:
- Develop, implement and refine teaching and assessment materials aligned with a learning trajectories (LTs) framework for teaching history.
- Model an action research approach to improving the teaching of history.
- Design and deliver high quality, research informed professional development for history teachers.
- Disseminate our project findings, resources, and best practices to empower history teachers in the U.S. and around the world.
