    • Please let us know. This is a small (approximately 40 person) convening. We will provide lodging and food in gratitude to you and for your full participation.
  • How do I get from the airport (RDU) to the StateView hotel?
    • The easiest way is to get to the StateView hotel on the NC State campus is use the local taxi stand at Raleigh-Durham International airport. The taxi stand is located outside the airport doors (from baggage claim) and to the left. Uber also works but picks up from a different location.
  • I have special dietary needs… how can I let someone know?
    • Please do let us know. We will do our best to ensure that your dietary needs are met but we need to know in advance of the event. Email Maria at mcoady@ncsu.edu
  • How will I get between the conference hotel and the meeting venue?
    • Weather pending, it is a short 10 minute, nice walk from the hotel to the Friday Institute. A van will also be available in the mornings (8:30 am) and afternoons (4 pm).
  • Will there be CREER24?
    • We hope so, but we have no plans for it yet. We hope that the agenda we set helps to build a network of scholars, educators, and community advocates for rural EL/ML students and families. A reconvening in the future would help to gauge our impact. Funding for this event was provided by the Spencer Foundation and Goodnight education funds.
