The lesson in this video is in an Advanced Placement Statistics class. The teacher is in his seventh year of teaching, though has only taught AP Statistics for 2 years. The classroom is equipped with a computer and LCD display, document camera, graphing calculators (though most have their own), and a cart with 15 laptops. All students in this school are encouraged to bring their own device, such as a cell phone, laptop, or tablet. With access to such tools, this video can provide a glimpse of how a teacher decides to use the tools to support instruction. The 90 minute lesson is edited to mainly showcase use of technology, and does not represent all aspects of instruction and student engagement during the lesson.
