Programs and Courses

The structure and requirements of mathematics teacher preparation programs and the learning opportunities within courses are critical components of educating mathematics teachers to effectively teach statistics and data science. Instructors in the ESTEEM Network have shared their Course Syllabi as well as Program Descriptions. Most of these are for undergraduate-level courses and programs. However, some graduate-level teacher education materials are included.

Syllabi show a brief description of the scope and sequence as well as descriptions of any projects related to statistics or data science. Program descriptions typically show all course requirements and often include a sample semester-by-semester display. The files are located in view-only Google folders and organized based on the type of course or grade band focus of a program.

If you are interested in sharing syllabi or program documents, please let us know!
