Cybersecurity Teacher PD

The online PD modules will be adapted from PI Martin’s prior work, which developed PD for teachers on cybersecurity awareness to facilitate summer camps. The PD course on cybersecurity will include four 10-hour modules on the four topics (cyber bullying, digital footprint, digital security, and digital privacy) to provide cybersecurity content knowledge. The online PD course will be designed on the Canvas learning management system, and will include measurable objectives, engaging multimedia resources, and interactive activities. We will adapt the modules to infuse components consistent with self-determination theory (e.g., activity choice, involvement in group processes, guidance, feedback, and reflection).
